Approach to Therapy

I take a holistic and flexible approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities to support each client’s individual needs. Much of my approach is focused on understanding clients experiences and then working with clients to reframe their understanding to gain greater insight and inform choices or approaches moving forward.

My work integrates:

  • Narrative Therapy – exploring personal stories and meaning
  • Schema Therapy – identifying and working through long-standing patterns
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – developing practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviours

  • This approach allows for both deeper self-understanding and the development of effective coping strategies.
